    Dr. Heidi Kopacek provides therapy services for adults. Dr. Kopacek’s training is in mindfulness-based therapy. The skill of mindfulness helps one to counter their reflexive fight, flight, or freeze responses both physiologically (through relaxation and breathing techniques), intellectually (by gaining insight into emotional triggers) and spiritually (by connecting to compassion, core beliefs, and vision).     Board Certified Clinical Neuropsychologist

    Dr. Micklewright conducts neuropsychological assessments with adults. Dr. Micklewright is a board-certified clinical neuropsychologist who specializes in conducting evaluations of adults with a wide variety of concerns regarding their cognition and functioning in daily life. She has extensive experience and enjoys working with individuals with a wide variety of medical, neurological, and psychiatric conditions, including, but not limited to: concussion/traumatic brain injuries, neurological conditions, strokes, cancer, and heart disease (i.e., diabetes mellitus, hypertension, high cholesterol, etc.). Dr. Micklewright takes a client-centered approach and focuses on understanding the individual in the context of their past, current circumstances (concerns and challenges), and goals for the future.   • Dr. Caryl Boehnert

    Licensed Psychologist

    Dr. Caryl Boehnert provides individual therapy for adults and elders (ages 21+). After completing her doctorate in Clinical Psychology, Dr. Boehnert went on to complete a two-year Postdoctoral Fellowship in Health Psychology at the University of Minnesota Medical School. This additional clinical training well equips Dr. Boehnert to work with those coping with pain, diabetes, autoimmune conditions, cancer and cardiac and pulmonary issues. Previous training and experience includes working with elders/issues of aging; and with those with mood disorders, stress, 'cabin fever,' and anxiety in communities in Alaska, Oregon, Montana and rural and urban Minnesota. Dr. Boehnart served for a year as Director of the Behavioral Medicine Clinic in the Department of Medicine at University of Massachusetts Medical School. More recently, she served as a Behavioral Medicine Psychologist for VA Montana Home Based Primary Care (adult and geriatric patients seen in their homes); and for United Pain Center, part of Allina Health. Dr. Boehnert uses a variety of psychological techniques based on current research and practice. These complement her belief that adults can make significant positive changes in their lives, no matter what age or prior diagnosis. She is passionate about helping humans learn how to slow down (without spinning themselves out) and reconnect with the wisdom of their bodies. In addition to traditional talk therapy, Dr. Simpson offers sessions that incorporate mindful and intuitive movement, trauma sensitive yoga, and mindfulness meditation. Dr. Simpson has extensive training and experience in working with a broad range of presenting clinical issues.     Dr. Darling is a clinical psychologist who provides psychological testing across the lifespan and individual therapy to ages 12 years and older. Dr. Darling has extensive training in psychological, neuropsychological and achievement assessments. She uses empirically validated measures to help provide accurate diagnosis and a deeper understanding of the individual's strengths and weaknesses. This helps individuals to better understand themselves and guide them to effective interventions. Dr. Darling provides assessment for ADHD, diagnostic clarity, psychotic disorders, academic testing for learning differences for school aged and college aged individuals, personality disorders, behavioral challenges in children, cognitive functioning and memory assessment. Dr. Darling uses a mindfulness based cognitive behavioral approach towards therapy using techniques such as mindfulness based CBT, ACT and DBT (dialectical behavioral therapy).     Medication Management

    Dr. Wyffels is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a special interest in mental health and well-being. She provides medication management for adults, adolescents and children (6+) for a variety of mental health issues. In her work, Dr. Wyffels brings both medical expertise and compassionate listening to the care she offers each patient. Time and attention for one to share their current health concerns is a hallmark of her practice. This holistic approach in assessment and diagnosis allows for her medical services to be tailored to meet the individual needs of those with whom she works with. Dr. Wyffels enjoys educating patients and their families about mental health issues and the steps they can take to enhance their well-being.

  • Dr. Haley Carlock

    Medication Management

    Dr. Haley Carlock is a board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner who provides psychiatric evaluations and medication management for adults with a special interest in treating individuals experiencing symptoms of anxiety, depression, and/or trauma. Informed by her experience working as a psychiatric nurse in the inpatient and outpatient setting, as well as the VA treating veterans, Dr. Carlock completed her education and training to become a psychiatric nurse practitioner in order to provide additional services to her clients. As she believes mental health symptoms can often improve when nutrition, regular exercise, self-care, and good sleep hygiene are practiced, she teaches mind-body skills in collaboration with her medication management services. In her practice, Dr. Carlock strives to create an environment in which each patient feels understood and genuinely cared for. She enjoys getting to know her patients and believes that building a warm and trusting relationship is crucial for success. Together with patients and their support network, she will formulate a treatment plan specifically tailored for each individual clients’ needs.   • Dr. Kayla Kvell

    Medication Management

    Dr. Kvell is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner who provides psychiatric evaluations and medication management for adolescents (14+) and adults. Her areas of special interest include ADHD, bipolar disorder and mood issues, postpartum depression, peri & postmenopausal symptoms, and metabolic/hormonal dysfunction and its impact on mental health. Dr. Kvell uses an integrative approach to address and identify underlying causes of psychiatric conditions. She incorporates a variety of treatments and recommendations into her plans of care which may include lifestyle modifications; medications; supplements; therapy referrals; nutritional guidance and support; movement and exercise; meditation practices; and, if needed, referrals for specialty laboratory testing. Dr. Kvell understands each of us will traverse the spectrum of human experiences throughout our journey, and every person will face pain and uncertainty along the way. In guiding her patients, she seeks to avoid pathologizing experiences that offer the chance to find meaning, purpose, and opportunity for growth. It's true that laughter is the best medicine, and Dr. Kvell believes humor is often the ideal way to reframe our circumstances to see possibilities in our struggles.   • Dr. Kellie Hanson

    Medication Management

    Dr. Hanson is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner who provides psychiatric evaluations and medication management through the lifespan. Her areas of special interest include posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), trauma, depression, anxiety, ADHD, and chronic pain/illness. Dr. Hanson uses a holistic approach to mental health, believing the mind and body must be in sync for a patient to manage their symptoms and disease process. She believes mental healthcare should be viewed as a three-legged table with each leg representing a different component: medication, coping skills, and therapy. As such medications can be an invaluable resource in a person's efforts to take good care of their physical and emotional well-being. Further, Dr. Hanson utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) techniques especially for patients diagnosed with trauma, depression, and anxiety. Using a holistic approach to care includes nutrition, exercise, and mindfulness as well as medication management. She also likes her patients to go for genomic testing if possible. This allows us to see how medications affect certain patients. Other labs may also be necessary. Vitamins and supplements are also important especially in patients with depression, and ADHD.

  • Dr. Sarah Dueffert

    PT, DPT, NCS

    Dr. Dueffert provides individualized physical therapy care for teens and adults navigating complex neurologic conditions. She believes that healing isn’t just about the right exercises or protocols—it’s about truly understanding the whole person. Her approach blends clinical expertise with deep listening, intuition, and a practical, whole-body perspective. She integrates the mind-body connection into every session, helping clients make sense of their symptoms and find strategies that support both function and well-being in daily life. Dr. Dueffert specializes in treating individuals with complex chronic conditions including postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS), dysautonomia, ehlers-danlos syndrome, vertigo, and functional neurologic disorder. Many of her clients come to her after seeing numerous providers without clear answers—and finally feel seen, heard, and supported. Her treatment approach is intentional and collaborative. She emphasizes energy conservation, gentle nervous system support, and movement strategies that fit into daily life rather than relying on rigid protocols or exhausting exercise routines. Clients are encouraged to reconnect with their bodies and intuition, rather than push through discomfort. Dr. Dueffert brings not only advanced clinical training, but also personal experience to her work. Having recovered from POTS herself as a teenager, she understands firsthand the emotional and physical toll of living with complex symptoms—and the hope that comes from finding the right support.

  • Dr. Marysa Meyer

    Integrative Physical Therapist

    Dr. Marysa Meyer provides physical therapy treatment to individuals (16+) throughout the lifespan. Dr. Meyer believes that the physical body holds clues to discovering what it means to be truly well in all senses of the world. She understands the role our mindset, beliefs, and emotions play on in our body’s ability to function in day-to-day life and believes that we all have an inherent ability to heal ourselves. Marysa prioritizes empowerment of her clients to take an active role in their healing, and acts as a guide to support the complexities of the body’s responses throughout this process. She utilizes an integrative and intuitive approach to help you get to the root causes of pain, tension, and other dysfunctions within the body. She works with a wide variety of populations, however she specializes in guiding those with chronic conditions such as fibromyalgia, chronic pain, chronic fatigue, Lymes disease, digestive disorders, Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS), and headaches/migraines. She also specializes in any spinal conditions including low back, mid back, or neck pain in addition to pain or injuries from performance related sports including figure skating, gymnastics, or dance. Dr. Meyer has extensive training through the Institute of Physical Art and the Barall Institute, and a large part of her practice is hands-on therapies for muscular, joint, and visceral (organ) releases. She is a yoga teacher and also has a certificate in Mind-Body Therapy and is able to allow for somatic processing during sessions through movement or hands-on releases. Treatment typically consists of postural and other movement assessment, manual therapy, re-education of joints and muscles, and retraining of various movement patterns.

    Jenn Anderson provides individual and family therapy for adolescents and adults. (Ages 13+). Throughout life, people face various obstacles. These obstacles may feel overwhelming and sometimes, insurmountable. However, working with a therapist can offer guidance and strength during these challenging times. Jenn works to garner this strength in clients by creating a safe environment to foster development of healthy communication skills. Further, focus is given on how to utilize support systems and increase healthy coping skills. Jenn's experience spans working with adolescents in school settings, day treatment settings and group therapy.     Jen provides individual therapy services to adults and seniors. Jen strives to provide a safe, supportive and nonjudgmental therapeutic environment from the very first session. She endeavors to help clients discover the best ways to solve problems and optimize their strengths.     Mark provides individual therapy for adults (18+). Consideration will also be given to clients under 18 for medical trauma, concussions, or other trauma-related physical or bodily injury. Mark uses a blend of somatic experiencing and co-regulating touch, along with cognitive and emotional support, to gently guide the client through their bodily experience. The goal is to slowly release any excess energy the body is holding in relation to a traumatic injury or event. Family and interpersonal relationships are also explored to address and repair any developmental ruptures that have occurred in the past and could be connected to the particular traumatic event. Mark offers a holistic and somatic-centered approach to treatment by focusing on the connection between the brain and body. The primary goal for all clients is to achieve self-regulation by feeling more at ease and safe in their body.
