She had been diagnosed with Lupus, which would halt her ability to exercise for two years. Angie searched for other options to continue her new fitness journey despite her chronic health conditions. That is when she discovered Pilates. Her health and mobility improved and her passion for fitness was invigorated. She earned certificates in Mat and Reformer Pilates, including, Personal Trainer*, Yoga*, Mossa*, Striking Fundamentals*, Boxing Fusion*, H.I.T.T.*, Tabata*, TRX*, Kettle bell*, Les Mills Body Flow, Jillian Michaels Body Shred and Beyond Barre (*NETA Certifications). She also does volunteer yoga work and motivational speaking with programs such as Project child, Girls in Action, and Shakopee Girls Juvenile Detention Center.

Kristin has been studying NeuroKinetic Therapy® since 2014 and is NeuroKinetic Therapy® Practicioner. She is currently studying NKT® level 3. She believes in the power of Pilates to nourish, change and strengthen the mind, body and spirit. • Maria S

    Instructor

After failing gym three times in high school, Maria was convinced that fitness wasn't for her. However, a chance encounter with a spin class at 22 changed her from a gym avoider to a gym lover. After being convinced to try Pilates to loosen up her hip flexers (#indoorcyclingproblems), she fell in love with Pilates and the way it allowed her to focus on her movement, body, and breath in a whole different way. With group fitness, Pilates, and indoor cycling certifications Maria prefers to not take fitness so seriously and abides by the motto: "community not competition". Maria firmly believes that showing up is half the battle. Once you commit to taking her class, she will help you learn to celebrate what your body is capable of and enjoy the sweat life.

  • Susan C

    Instructor

Susan tried Pilates for the first time to help her lower back pain. After a few sessions, she was hooked. After several years of regular practice and a corporate acquisition, she was ready for the next chapter in her life. With the corporate world in the rear-view mirror, Susan gave up her frequent flyer status to embark on one of her greatest adventures: becoming a Pilates instructor. She has completed her 500-hour comprehensive training with Club Pilates. Her 2nd chapter career has allowed her to share her love of Pilates with the masses (including convincing her golf buddies that Pilates is the key to reducing mulligans) and she can't wait to introduce you to the benefits of Pilates.

  • Tanya L

    Instructor

Tanya first tried Pilates in an attempt to regain muscle tone after becoming a mother with back-to-back pregnancies. A dancer since the age of three, Pilates appealed to her interest in proper form and the connection between mind and body. Her initial interest soon evolved into lifelong practice when she was invited to train as an instructor. Trained in the STOTT method and certified through the YMCA of Central Kentucky, Tanya is committed to being “brilliant with the basics” and ensuring the mastery essential skills and having a good time doing it! In her day job at the University of Minnesota, Tanya trains mental health practitioners and conducts research on mental illness and substance use disorders. In addition to her work, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and caring for her horses (which she occasionally has time to ride).
